Bee'Cause We Care Fundraiser!

Bee'Cause We Care is a year-round fundraiser that raises proceeds for the Haliburton Highlands Health Services through honey sponsorships. When you sponsor a hive the sponsorship will last for up to one year.

This is a great gift for anyone! You can give the sponsorship as a gift for birthdays, weddings, anniversaries, or even treat yourself to a sponsorship.

The sponsorships are separated into four categories; Whole Hive, Queen Bee, Drones (bundle of 100), and Worker Bees (bundle of 100). Each category comes with the benefit of honey and other bee by products from my product line.

If you are unable to purchase a sponsorship don't worry we also offer a unique honeycomb jar with white honey in it. A portion of the proceeds will be donated to HHHS Foundation to support capital equipment for the Haliburton Highlands Health Services.

Sponsoring a Whole Hive- $500.00

When you sponsor a whole hive you are receiving the Queen bee along with all of the workers and drones in that residing hive. Sponsoring a whole hive allows you to have receive a premium gift basket, as well as the opportunity to come and see your hive thrive during an event in September!

Sponsoring a Queen Bee-$125.00

There is only one queen bee in a hive. She is selected by the worker bees when shes still a larvae, the other bees will work solely for her and fiercely protect her. Being the only female with developed ovaries her roles include laying eggs and producing a chemical scent that creates unity in the colony of the hive

Sponsoring a Queen Bee will allow you to receive a skin care product basket with products that are my from the by products of bee hives. As well as the opportunity to see what all the buzz is about with the queen bee during an event in September!

Sponsoring 100 Worker Bees- $75.00

Worker bees are the bees that keep the hive functioning. They have many different roles, but depending on the age of the bee they will do something different. When they are young they will be a nursing bee and look after the larvae. They also process incoming nectar into honey, and feed the queen. As the worker bees become older they will venture away from the hive and collect necessary resources to keep the hive alive. They will do this from sunrise to sunset!

When sponsoring a bundle of 100 workers you will receive a lip balm, votive candle, mini-lotion bar, and a jar of honey that your worker bees worked so hard to make.

Sponsoring 100 Drones- $50.00

Drones are the only bees that can reproduce with the queen bee. Drones don't have many jobs around the hive compared to the worker bee, but when the temperature in the hive increases they will help create a cooling effect with their wings.

When you sponsor a bundle of 100 drones you will be sent a lip balm, votive candle, and a jar of honey that your drones helped produce.
